AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan Granted Bail In Anti Encroachment Case

AAP MLA  Amanatullah Khan and his followers were apprehended on May 13 for disrupting the anti-encroachment drive in Shaheen Bagh on May 9. On May 14, he was granted bail after presenting a bail bond of Rs.50,000 with two sureties in the same amount. "It is a fact that accused persons were carrying no weapons with them," Metropolitan Magistrate Himanshu Tanwar said.

Delhi: Shaheen Bagh Welding Shops Provide Free Oxygen Cylinders

Doing their bit to help, many welding shops in Delhi's Shaheen Bagh are working as free oxygen cylinder distributors and refilling centres. Reportedly, the shop owners are refilling the cylinders for free or a minimum charge of Rs 130 for a 15-litre cylinder, which is costing as much as Rs 20,000 at other places. Moreover, the shops are getting numerous calls and they are doing it for nothing in return.

Mahinder Kaur Files Suit Against Kangana For Calling Her Bilkis Dadi

Bathinda’s 73-year-old Mahinder Kaur has filed a defamation case against Kangana Ranaut for misaddressing the latter as Bilkis Dadi of Shaheen Bagh. Mahinder, in her complaint, mentioned that Kangana has not even tendered apology after the incident. Besides, she claimed Kangana's social media post had harmed her reputation, and she faces mental tension and harassment from society. Reportedly, a hearing has been scheduled on January 11.

Man Held For Sharing Anti-CAA Text In Whatsapp Free After 5 Months

A man from Madhya Pradesh’s Shajapur district police had been imprisoned for five months for sharing a pro-Shaheen Bagh post over WhatsApp. The 28-year-old  Anwar had been arrested on July 27 after a charge for evoking religious sentiments and was released on December 1. Reportedly, Anwar was denied bail untill his seventh attempt. Moreover, he has been directed for counselling by the Indore High Court.

Man Stabbed In Delhi For Not Sharing Bidi; Three Men Arrested

In a gruesome incident, three men have been arrested by the police after they killed a man for denying a bidi on November 26. The deceased Siddique was violently stabbed near Shaheen Bagh by three men. Reportedly, the three men had assaulted the victim initially and later killed him in the evening. After a tip-off from a witness, the police arrested the accused- Mohammed Faizan, Mohammed Usman, and Jaheer Mansoori.
