Initially scheduled to release on April 14, Shahid Kapoor's upcoming film "Jersey" will now hit theaters on April 22. ''Jersey'', the Hindi remake of the 2019 Telugu blockbuster directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri is set to release on 31 December 2021. Meanwhile, Actor Shahid Kapoor shared the official poster on Instagram and wrote, ''Jersey releasing in theatres 31st December.'' The film is about the inspiring journey of a 30-year-old ''talented but failed cricketer'' who makes a comeback into the Indian team to fulfill his son's wish for a Jersey.

Actor Shahid Kapoor will soon debut on OTT platform with an Amazon Prime original series.
