Death Penalty For Crimes Like Rape & Acid Attack, Maha Drafts Bill To Committee
To curb out crime against women and children, on December 15 Maharashtra government drafted a bill 'Shakti' to the joint committee, house of the state legislature. According to the bill, strict punishment like death penalty can be charged with fines up to Rs.10 lakh for crime like, rape, acid attack or derogatory comment over women or children.
