The meeting of Sharad Pawar and Industrialist Gautam Adani is raising eyebrows, especially after the recent issue between Congress and Sharad Pawar over Adani Row. Notably, recently, Pawar and Adani held a meeting at NCP leader Sharad Pawar's residence. After this, Pawar’s meeting with Sanjay Raut, a Shiv Sena MP (Uddhav Thackeray) also added to the buzz that a political plot was unravelling in Maharashtra, troubling Uddhav Thackeray. 

The drift between the Congress and NCP leader Sharad Pawar is likely to intensify, after the disagreement of Pawar in the recent Adani Hindenburg report, matter. In a recent interview with a media house, Pawar said that he is against the narratives of the Hindenburg report and back Adani Groups, which was caught in a scam controversy. However, the stand of Rahul Gandhi and Congress is different leading to distance.

Thane district court in Maharashtra granted bail to Marathi actress Ketaki Chitali, after being in jail for over a month, on June 22.  Ketaki was arrested for allegedly sharing an objectionable post about NCP President Sharad Pawar on social media. The district judge HM Patwardhan granted bail with a surety of Rs 20,000.  Notably, On May 14, Ketaki was arrested by Thane Police, after she posted a derogatory post for Sharad Pawar.

Marathi actress Ketaki Chitale has been sent to 14-day judicial custody, after her 3-day police custody expired on May 18. Chitale was arrested on May 15 from Thane, for allegedly sharing a "derogatory post" against NCP chief Sharad Pawar. Reportedly, she was thrown ink at by agitated people, during her arrest. The investigation is underway and over 15 cases have been registered against her across various police station in Maharashtra. 

After an advocate and 115 arrests, a Pune-based journalist has also been arrested in connection with an alleged attack outside NCP chief Sharad Pawar's residence on April 8. On April 13, the Mumbai police detained the journalist for questioning his role in the MSRTC strike and attack.
