Reliance Shareholders Approve Appointment Of Isha, Akash & Anant Ambani

The appointment of Ambani scions Akash, Isha and Anant on the board of Reliance Industries has been approved by the shareholders, the company on Friday said through an exchange filing. As per the regulatory filing, twins Isha and Akash, got over 98 per cent of votes for being appointed on the board of Reliance while Anant, got 92.75 per cent votes.The voting was conducted through remote e-voting process,

Elon Musk Offers $43 Billion To Buy Twitter

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk offered $54.20 (per share) to acquire Twitter, on April 14. The development came days after Musk rejected Twitter's offer to be on company's board. Elon Musk offered to pay $43 billion and said, "My offer is my best and final offer and if it is not accepted, I would need to reconsider my position as a shareholder" Musk holds 9% stake in Twitter.

OYO Opposes Zostel Threats To Restrict OYO's IPO Activities

In retaliation to a notice from Zostel threatening to limit its IPO preparation efforts, OYO published an open letter on its blog. OYO is allegedly planning a public sale of shares "without complying with the provisions of the award and allotment to the shareholders; the ownership to which they are entitled," as per Zostel. In response, Oyo claims that it is an attempt to circumvent the Delhi High Court's processes.
