HDFC Shares Increase By 3% With High Profit
Shares of housing finance major HDFC on May 4, climbed nearly 3 per cent after the firm reported a 20 per cent growth in standalone net profit for the March quarter. The stock advanced 2.64 per cent to finish at Rs 2,862.35 apiece on the BSE. During the day, it jumped 2.80 per cent to its 52-week high of Rs 2,867, confirmed the bank in a notification.

Reliance Announces Reward To Its Employees After Profit
Good news to Reliance employees, the company allotted 15,000 shares worth Rs 1,50,000 as stock options, the company announced through an exchange filing. The shares worth Rs 10 each were allotted under the Employee Stock Option Scheme 2017. The announcement came as a reward to the employees. Notably, the company in the fourth-quarter-financial year 2023 reported a jump in total income to Rs 2,19,294 crore, with 21,374 crore net profit.

Muthoot Finance Completes Pre-Payment Of Commercial Borrowings
Muthoot Finance announced to have completed pre-payment of external commercial borrowings, announced in a release. The official exchange issued by the finance company read, "The board on March 28 had approved the pre-payment of external commercial borrowings of $550 million." In addition, the company also initiated steps for cancellation on Senior Secured Notes issued by the company under the Global Medium Term Note Programme.

LIC Sales 2% STake In TIL LTD, Shareholding At 10.199%
Life Insurance Corporation of India sold 2% stake in TIL LTD bringing down its shareholding from 10.199 per cent to 8.076 per cent. The company sold the stakes in TIL for investment purposes. Now, the holding decreased from 10.199 per cent to 8.076 per cent from December 31, 2021 to March 13, 2023 at an average cost of Rs 157.48.

Tata Motors Technologies Unit Files For IPO
Tata Technologies, a unit of Indian carmaker Tata Motors filed for an initial public offering (IPO), confirmed Tata Motors said in an exchange filing. On March 9, the automobile company said they will not offer any of the 95.7 million shares, representing around 23.6% of its paid-up share capital, to be sold in the IPO. Furthermore,has a 74.69% stake in Tata Tech, will sell up to 81.1 million shares.

Gautam Adani Announces Withdrawal Of FPOs Issued To Public
Adani Groups Chairman Gautam Adani announced to the withdrawal of all FPOs worth Rs. 20,000 crores. Addressing the media on February 2, Adani said, the decision to return the FPO money of all the investors and shareholders was taken in the view of the 'Market Volatility'. "In my humble journey of over 4 decades as an entrepreneur I have been blessed to receive overwhelming support from all stakeholders," said Adani.

Infosys Announces Buyback Programme With Rise In Net Profit To Rs 6,021 Crore
Infosys posted an 11 per cent year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 6,021 crore for the September quarter and also announced a share buyback programme worth Rs 9,300 crore. As per PTI, IT company will also pay an interim dividend totalling Rs 6,940 crore to the shareholders. Moreover, net profit of Infosys, India's second largest firm stood at Rs 5,421 crore in the same period a year ago.
