Pune Police Books Former AMU Student Sharjeel Usmani For Hate Speech
The Pune Police have filed an FIR against ex-AMU student-leader Sharjeel Usmani for delivering hate speech at a January 30 event, ‘Elgar Parishad 2021'. Externment Order Issued Against AMU Student Sharjeel Usmani
Sharjeel Usmani, a student from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) who was involved in clashes between AMU-students, police, and security forces during the anti-CAA protests, has been booked under the UP Control of Goondas Act.
