Minor Gang Raped, Case Registered Against 6 Including SHO In UP
In Uttar Pradesh's Lalitpur district, six people including a station house officer (SHO) allegedly gang-raped a 13-year-old minor. Notably, four youths kidnapped the girl and took her to Bhopal, where she was raped, but she escaped and went to the police, where the SHO also assaulted her before handing her to Child Welfare Committee. On May 4,a case has been registered against the accused and an investigation is underway.

UP Gangster's Daughter Died After Police Raid, SHO Suspended
In Uttar Pradesh's Chandauli, gangster Kanhaiya Yadav's eldest daughter died after police raided Yadav's house, on May 1. According to ANI, a police officer has been alleged of thrashed Kanhaiya's two daughters, due to which one died on spot and the other received serious injuries. Karnataka HC Directs SHO To Clean Road Over Failure To File Complaint
For failing to register a kidnapping complaint, a Station House Officer (SHO) was ordered to clean the road by the Kalaburgi Bench of the Karnataka High Court. Remarking the failure as disturbing, the court ordered the Bazar Police Station SHO to clean the road in front of the police station for one week. However, planning to appeal against the order, the City Commissioner Satish said there was no lapse from their side.
