Vidya Balan Starrer Short Film 'Natkhat' Enters In Oscar 2021 Race

Vidya Balan-starrer Natkhat has officially entered the race for the upcoming Oscars in the Best Short Film category. In tandem with the announcement, the makers have tweeted an exclusive snippet of the film. The much-acclaimed short film produced by Ronnie Screwvala showed a mother educating her son on the delicate theme of gender equality. Directed by Shaan Vyas and co-written by Annukampa Harsh, the movie was released in June 2020.

India has pushed 'Shameless' as its official nominee for the Oscar award under the 'Live Action Short Film' category. Directed and written by Keith Gomes, the film stars Sayani Gupta, Rishabh Kapoor and Hussain Dalal.
