Shot Dead

In Delhi's Paschim Vihar, a 32-year-old woman named Jyoti was shot dead. According to sources, Jyoti, who worked in the courier team at Flipkart was returning home at 7:30 pm, when two unidentified motorists shot her, said Jyoti's husband. Upon information, the Delhi Police team led by DCP Harendra Singh rushed to the spot and launched an investigation, after collecting the CCTV footage of the area.

In J&K's Poonch district, an ITBP officer shot himself dead with his service weapon, while on duty. Reportedly, the incident occurred at Mini-Secretariat in Poonch Town, and Prem Chand was posted as Assistant Sub-Inspector of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). Immediately after the incident, Chand was rushed to a hospital, where he was declared brought dead. Further details on the matter is awaited.

In Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district, terrorists shot dead a Kashmiri Pandit teacher, confirmed police on May 31. The deceased teacher was identified as Rajni Bala (36) sustained injuries and was brought dead by the doctors at a nearby hospital. Furthermore, the police cordoned off the area and launched a manhunt to track down the assailants. Furthermore, this is the seventh such targeted killing in Jammu and Kashmir.

As per PTI, a 28-year-old was shot dead by an unidentified assailants at Lokra-Kapriwas road, in Gurugram, Haryana. The incident took place on March 24, at 7:40 am, said police. Notably, the victim identified as Rakesh Gurjar, was a native of Alwar, Rajasthan. Furthermore, ACP Harendra Kumar said, "We took the body in custody and informed the family. The reason behind the murder is not clear yet. Probe is on."
