Jasprit & Shreyas Likely To Make Comeback With Asia Cup 2023

After ruled out news of Rohit Sharma, India's ace bowler Jasprit Bumrah and batter Shreyas Iyer are looking to mark their comeback in India's squad for the Asia Cup 2023. Sources revealed that Bumrah has been out of action since September 2022 owing to a back injury and and Iyer will be selected in the team for ODI matches in Sri Lanka and Pakistan, starting in October.

Injured Shreyas Iyer Doubtful Choice For Ind/Aus Gavaskar Trophy Match

Indian cricketer Shreyas Iyer is likely to miss the first one-day international (ODI) against Australia for the Border Gavaskar Trophy match, due to his back injury. According to BCCI sources, Iyer is currently recuperating at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru and has been ruled out of matches since January 15, due to his injury. Now, Shubam Gill is expected to replace Iyer in the Gavaskar Trophy India-Australia ODI match.

IPL 2020: Shreyas Iyer Expresses Disappointment Over KKR Match

In IPL 2022 KKR scored 146 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 9 wickets and Delhi Capitals 19 overs for the loss of 6 wickets. Regarding changing their opening pair, Shreyas Iyer they started off slowly and lost wickets, it was holding up a bit but could not get a good score. KKR has 6 defeats in 9 matches, Delhi Capitals had fourth win in 9 matches.

Shreyas Iyer became the most expensive addition to the team in the marquee set, at IPL 2022 mega auction, in Bengaluru, on February 12. The player was signed by Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 12.25 crore. In addition, Delhi Capitals roped in David Warner for Rs 6.25 crore. Only Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians, and SunRisers Hyderabad were the teams who did not buy any players from the marquee list.

Shreyas Iyer Becomes 16th Indian To Score Century On Test Debut

Indian cricketer Shreyas Iyer on November 26 became the 16th Indian batsman who scored a century on his Test debut. The right-hander from Mumbai scored 105 off 171 balls during the ongoing New Zealand Test match in Kanpur's Green Park Stadium. He's also the third batsman from Mumbai to score 100 runs against NZ. The first Test match against New Zealand will continue till November 29.
