Injured Shreyas Iyer Doubtful Choice For Ind/Aus Gavaskar Trophy Match
Indian cricketer Shreyas Iyer is likely to miss the first one-day international (ODI) against Australia for the Border Gavaskar Trophy match, due to his back injury. According to BCCI sources, Iyer is currently recuperating at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru and has been ruled out of matches since January 15, due to his injury. Now, Shubam Gill is expected to replace Iyer in the Gavaskar Trophy India-Australia ODI match.

In IPL 2022 KKR scored 146 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 9 wickets and Delhi Capitals 19 overs for the loss of 6 wickets. Shreyas Iyer became the most expensive addition to the team in the marquee set, at IPL 2022 mega auction, in Bengaluru, on February 12. The player was signed by Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 12.25 crore. In addition, Delhi Capitals roped in David Warner for Rs 6.25 crore. Only Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians, and SunRisers Hyderabad were the teams who did not buy any players from the marquee list.

Shreyas Iyer Becomes 16th Indian To Score Century On Test Debut
Indian cricketer Shreyas Iyer on November 26 became the 16th Indian batsman who scored a century on his Test debut. The right-hander from Mumbai scored 105 off 171 balls during the ongoing New Zealand Test match in Kanpur's Green Park Stadium. He's also the third batsman from Mumbai to score 100 runs against NZ. The first Test match against New Zealand will continue till November 29.
