Shyok River

In Ladakh, near Shyok river, seven soldiers were killed when a vehicle carrying them skidded off the road and rolled down into a gorge. Notably, on May 27, the vehicle was moving from Partapur transit camp to Turtuk in Leh district, when the misfortune took place. While seven officials died, 19 received severe injuries and are undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital. The investigation has been launched.
