Rajasthani Bride Rides Horse On Pre-wedding Ritual To End 'Gender Gap'
In Rajasthan's Ranoli village, Sikar district, a family allowed their daughter, Kritika Saini, to ride a horse to mark the pre-wedding ritual of 'Bandori' to promote gender equality in society. The incident was reported on November 29 and Saini also wore a sherwani, a pagdi. Reportedly, she is a fashion designer and had designed the sherwani by herself. Kritika got married to Manish Saini on December 1.
