Siliguri Dengue Cases Rise Rapidly, 101 Cases Registered So Far
In Siliguri, the dengue cases are rising rapidly, increasing concern to the concerned authority and people. So far, till August 31, there are 110 cases of Dengue were reported in the region. In order to control the spread of the disease, the authority even engaged Vector Control Teams (VCT) to ensure that the situation is under control in the town. The major reason behind dengue rise is the weather change.

Flower Festival Organized In Siliguri: West Bengal
The Government of West Bengal on February 19, organized a five-day flower show at Siliguri's Kanchenjunga Stadium. SEC Announces Civic Body Polls For 4 Corporations: West Bengal

WB Police Arrest 30 BJP Workers For 'Yuva Sankalp Yatra' Rally
Concerning a rally for Yuva Sankalp Yatra, as many as 30 BJP workers, including Siliguri MLA Sankar Ghosh have been arrested by the West Bengal police in front of their party office. "They have been arrested because they did not seek permission for the Yuva Sankalp rally," said DCP, Siliguri Metropolitan Police Joy Tudu.
