India's Ramita, Mehuli Ghosh and Ashi Chouksey won silver in the women’s 10m air rifle team event with a total score of 1886. China won the gold, while bronze went to Mongolia.  The overall five medals are: Silver in Lightweight Men's Double Sculls, Silver in Men's Eight, Bronze in Men's Pair  Silver in 10m Air Rifle Team Women and Bronze in Ramita, 10m air rifle individual.

Gold prices have increased by Rs 271, and currently stands at Rs 51,670 per 10 grams, as of March 3, according to HDFC securities. Meanwhile, silver gained Rs 818, and currently stands at Rs 68,425 per Kg. Reportedly in the previous trade, gold finished at Rs 51,399 per 10 grams and silver at Rs 67,607 per Kg. Amid the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict, Rupee declined by 15 paise against US dollar.

The U23 World Wrestling Championship 2021 concluded on November 7 in Serbia's capital Belgrade. India won five medals in the event in different categories. The event is also said to be India's most successful performance since the beginning of the event in 2017. Shivani Pawar won silver in 50kg, Anju win bronze in 55kg followed by Divya Kakran (62kg) Radhika (65kg), and Nisha Dahiya (72kg).   

Anshu Malik on October 7 made India proud as she became the first Indian woman to win a silver medal at the World Wrestling Championship 2021 in Norway's Oslo in the 57 kg event. Meanwhile, the USA's Helen Marlouis won the gold medal. Besides, Wrestler Sarita Mor won a bronze medal in the women's 59kg category. Earlier, Geeta Phogat, Babita Phogat, Pooja Dhanda, and Vinesh Phogot won bronze medals.

At the Tokyo Paralympics, India's Praveen Kumar has won a silver medal in the men's high jump T64 event for the country on September 3. Kumar, who has a leg amputation and uses prosthetics to compete in a standing position, also broke the Asian record with a 2.07m jump at the event. In the competition, Great Britain's Jonathan Broom-Edwards and Poland's Maciej Lepiato won gold and bronze, respectively.
