Less Sleep Effects Children's Reading Efficiency, finds Study

Children who have problems related to their sleep face difficulty in their reading ability, finds a study published in the British Journal of Educational Psychology. The outcome of the study was based on 339 children aged four to 14 years. ''Screening and treating sleep and literacy difficulties at a young age could help to improve life outcomes for all children,'' said Anna Joyce, corresponding author of the study.
