Professor Slammed For Removing ABES Student From Stage, Defends Herself
After the viral video of ABES student who was asked to leave the stage for chanting Jai Shree Ram, the professor defended herself, issuing an official statement. The professors Mamata Gautam and Shweta Sharma, who scolded the student, have been suspended. In this regard, SMamata said, "We have never had a problem with the Jai Shri Ram slogan, if anyone makes more comments, I will take action against them."

Varun Gandhi Shares Video Of Lakhimpur Kheri Violence, Demands Action
BJP leader Varun Gandhi on October 5 shared a video from his Twitter account and claimed it to be the video of Lakhimpur Kheri violence. He demanded action to be taken based on the video. The 25-second video shows an SUV running over the protesting farmers in UP. Notably, Congress leader Priyanka also tweeted the clip. Earlier, farmers' leaders had alleged the car belonged to Union Minister Ajay Kumar's son.

Haryana Govt To Launch Anti-Tobacco Drive In Colleges From Jan 26
CM Manohar Lal Khattar-led Haryana government will start an anti-tobacco drive across all colleges and universities in the state from January 26. While painting anti-smoking slogans, the government would place volunteers near school displaying motivational messages. Manoj Tiwari Alleges 'Tukde-Tukde Gang' Behind Farmers' Protests
Taking a jibe, Delhi BJP leader Manoj Tiwari said that the "tukde-tukde gang" has been trying to turn the ongoing farmers' protest into Shaheen Bagh 2.0 and create "unrest" in the country. Moreover, Tiwari has claimed the protests to be well-planned since pro-Khalistan slogans and threats to PM were allegedly raised by protestors. However, he hoped that farmers will understand the laws and withhold the intentions of the alleged kindlers.
