Rajasthan Government To Cap RT-PCR Testing Cost At Rs 800

Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot on November 28 announced to bring the RT-PCR test cost in private labs down to Rs 800 from Rs 4,000. While making the announcement, he digitally inaugurated several COVID treatment-related facilities including testing labs in various districts and 70-bed COVID ICU at RUHS Jaipur. He also advised the state authorities to stop worrying about increased COVID-19 cases and keep testing more patients.

Higher Education Institutes in UP To Resume From November 23

Karnataka HC Questioned State Govt. Regarding COVID Norms Violations by VIP's

Amid the rising number of cases in Karnataka, HC ordered the government to instruct authorities to take strict action against those violating COVID-19 norms. The Court opined that only 19,500 cases of violation were too low for a city like Bangalore. The bench added that the special precautions have to be taken at the places of worship, and also questioned the state regarding violation of COVID-19 guidelines by VIPs.

Noida To Resume Metro Services From September 7; Eight Hours A Day

The Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) official has confirmed that the city will resume the Aqua-Line services from September 7. However, the operational timings of the trains will be restricted between 7 AM to 11 AM in the morning and 5 PM to 9 PM in the evening with a 15 minutes frequency from Monday to Saturday.
