Indore-Based Software Company Raises Seed Funding Round From Angel Investors
Indore-based software company GoPaani has raised seed funding of USD 600,000 from early-stage venture capital firm 3one4 Capital and a number of angel investors. Ankit Ranka, the co-founder of GoPaani, noted, “We started GoPaani to solve the problems faced by over 1.2 million water delivery businesses in India like product loss, billing issues, poor customer service... we plan to focus on water delivery businesses."

Apache Releases Security Patch For HTTP Flaw Server
The Apache Software Company, on December 23, released a security patch to solve critical flaw in HTTP server. Apache is one of the largest web server used in India, was having a critical flaw "Apache log4j2" in its server, which allowed attackers to have control over a vulnerable system. However, with this new security patch the issue will be resolved avoiding cyber crimes and ways to attacking security of system.

Anand Eswaran Becomes New CEO Of Veeam Software Company
Veeam, a Switzerland headquartered global software company, appointed Anand Eswaran as the CEO, on December 17. After William Largent stepped down, the Indian-origin became the CEO and Board of Directors' member. "Eswaran's appointment as Veeam's CEO excites me," said Largent, who is now the Chairman of the Board of Directors. With this, Anand Eswaran joined the list of Indian CEOs in global tech companies.
