Woman Found Half Burnt In UP's Greater Noida; Son Files Case Against Sister
Birma Devi's (55) body was found half burnt at her residence in Uttar Pradesh's Greater Noida, on April 15. Her son Vipin filed a case against his sister Meenu and brother-in-law Mahaveer, alleging that the duo is behind the murder of his mother. According to the complaint, the duo were pressurising Devi to give RS 15 lakh, which she received as insurance money for the death of her husband.

MP Woman & Son-in-law Gets 10 Yrs Of Jail For Filing Fake Gang-rape Case
The 29-year-old Gopal Rajak and his mother-in-law Guddi (46) were sentenced to 10 years of jail for lodging a fake gang-rape case against four neighbors by Ashok Nagar's session court on October 27 in Madhya Pradesh. Reportedly, the duo filed the case against them as they often used to have fights over the installation of a hand pump. However, the police found the both were in a relationship.

UP: Man Shoots His Mother-in-law; Woman in Critical Condition
Muzaffarnagar Police in Uttar Pradesh on August 18 said that a man allegedly shot his mother-in-law, causing critical injuries to her. The victim was rushed to the district hospital, said police. As per the police, an FIR has been registered against the accused, Rahul; however, he is still on the run. The police further informed that Rahul's wife, Neha, was living with her parents due to family issues.
