After Congress leader Rahul Gandhi shared a video, introducing their new family member 'Noorie,' a pet for his mother, a news portal and official Instagram page, People For Animals, alleged that Rahul Gandhi purchased the dog, a Jack Russell, illegally in Goa. "It's unfortunate that he knowingly broke the law and showed such little respect for it by filming himself doing so," read a post shared by PFA.

Sonia Gandhi To Open Debate Over Women's Reservation Bill In Lok Sabha
Sonia Gandhi, the former President of the Indian National Congress (INC) will open the debate in the Lok Sabha session and will discuss the Women's Reservation Bill. Notably, the Congress is raising claims that tabled by Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal and the BJP Government, the idea was of Congress. The bill which is yet to be approved and pass will provide 33% reservation to women in politics.

The Congress' parliamentary party chief Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday said the women's reservation bill "is ours", amid speculation that the bill may be tabled in Parliament. The Congress on Monday said it welcomed the reported move as the party has been raising the demand for long. Asked about the bill when she was entering Parliament on Tuesday, Mrs Gandhi said, "It is ours, apna hai."

Sonia Gandhi Writes To PM Modi, Says No Clear Agenda Is Communicated To Parties
Congress leader Sonia Gandhi on Wednesday wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to point out that no agenda was listed for the special Parliament session and to raise nine issues, including violence in Manipur and price rise, for discussion during it. The letter read, "None of us have any idea of its agenda. All we have been communicated is that all five days have been allocated for government business."

BJP Leader Takes Dig At Rahul Gandhi and His Birth
