Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi officially left the government residence of Lok Sabha Secretariat. BJP Leader Takes Dig At Rahul Gandhi and His Birth
BJP leader Sanjay Jaiswal took a personal dig at Rahul Gandhi and his origin. Addressing the media, Jaiswal said, "A person born to a foreign woman can never be a patriot." He further insulted Rahul Gandhi and his family with the personal attack saying, "He is upset with PM Modi." Sonia Gandhi Admitted To Hospital, Said To Be Stable
Former Congress President Sonia Gandhi has been admitted to hospital after she suffered from a fever. On March 3, Gandhi was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, in Delhi. As of now, doctors are treating her and released a media bulletin, confirming that she is fine and stable. Gandhi is under the supervision of Arup Basu, senior consultant, the Department of Chest Medicine, and his team.

Mallikarjun Kharge, KN Tripathi File Nominations For Congress President Election
Leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha and senior Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge filed his nomination for the Congress president election. Shashi Tharoor and Jharkhand Congress leader KN Tripathi also filed nominations for the top post in Congress party. The nominations will reportedly be open till September 30, and the results will be announced on October 18. Currently Sonia Gandhi is serving as the party’s interim president.
