Hindi Is Most Spoken Language, Not National Language: Sonu Nigam
Recently Ajay Devgan and Kiccha Sudeep had a Twitter-war regarding Hindi being the National language of India or not. The war started after Ajay Devgan's tweet, if Hindi is not our National Language why did Kiccha Sudeep release his films dubbed in Hindi, Sudeep tried to clarify the misinterpretation by his reply. Furthermore, Sonu Nigam also joined the bandwagon saying Hindi is the most spoken language, not the national language.

Sonu Nigam Being Threatened By BMC Chief Iqbal Singh Chahal’s Cousin
As per reports, Singer Sonu Nigam is receiving threats from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) chief Iqbal Singh Chahal's cousin Rajinder. He asked Sonu Nigam to perform at a concert overseas. Nigam, who worked with an international promoter named Rocky, asked Iqbal to contact Rocky for query instead of him. However, this exchange did not go down well with Rajinder who sent derogatory messages to Sonu, threatening him.

Singer Sonu Nigam To Receive Padma Shri, Bengali Actor Victor Banerjee For Padma Bhushan
Singer Sonu Nigam and Bengali actor Victor Banerjee, are among 35 personalities who will be conferred with the, Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan Awards, in 2022. The Government of India has released a list of the Padma awardees on the eve of Republic Day. Out of 128 awardees, 34 are women and the list also includes 10 persons from the category of Foreigners/NRI/PIO/OCI and 13 posthumous awardees.

Sonu Nigam And Family Test Positive For Covid-19
Bollywood playback singer Sonu Nigam on January 4, announced to be tested positive for Covid-19. In an Instagram post, he said, he along with his wife, son, and sister-in-law are COVID-19 positive and are currently in Dubai under quarantine. The Instagram post read, "I tested COVID positive. Happy New Year 2022 to the extended family!" Earlier, Bollywood stars like John Abraham, Prem Chopra, and Ekta Kapoor also tested COVID-19 positive.
