IAF Lands To India With 12 Cheetahs From South Africa
Indian Air Force (IAF) chopper airlifts 12 cheetahs from South Africa, on February 18. Five male and seven female big cats landed in Madhya Pradesh's Kuno National Park (KNP.) These big cats will be released into the KNP by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Union minister Bhupender Yadav. The cheetahs from South Africa sent to KNP will be in quarantine enclosures.

Indian Deaf Cricket Association Wins DICC T20 Trophy In UAE
The Indian Deaf Cricket Team won the tournament with 141 runs and maintained an excellent record after defeating the South African team, by 39 runs. In the final match, the Indian Cricket Team won the match and secured the DICC T20 Trophy, at Malek Stadium at Ajman, the United Arab Emirates. Moreover, this was a special match, as it was first time Indian Deaf Cricket played International after the pandemic.

Cricket South Africa Withdraws From 2023 ODI Series Against Australia
Amid a clash in dates of the ODI-series and Cricket South Africa (CSA) new franchise T20 League, the CSA announced to withdrawal from the ODI-series against Australia, in January 2023. On July 13, the CSA said, their men's-national-team will not be playing the three-ODIs, which form part of the ICC Super League matches. Notably, the 2023 ICC League matches will directly help teams to qualify for World Cup, in 2023.

17 People Found Dead In South Africa's Nightclub In Suspicious Manner
In South Africa's City of East London, the suspicious death of 17 people has been reported. As per sources, in a nightclub, people were found dead, following which the police registered a case and launched an investigation. The statement was given by official Brigadier Tembinkosi Kinana, confirming that the police were alerted of the incident at Scenery Park. The cause of death and identities of the deceased are under investigation.

First Case Of Monkeypox Virus Detected In South Africa; Process Of Contact Tracing Underway
South Africa reported its first case of Monkeypox virus, joining the list of 40 other countries, on June 23. According to Health Minister Joe Phaahla, the patient is a 30-year-old male from Johannesburg, who has no travel history. Which means, he did not acquire it from outside South Africa. He further stated that a process of contact tracing has begun, to ensure the virus is contained.

India Defeats South Africa In Third Twenty20 International In Visakhapatnam
India defeated South Africa in the third Twenty20 International on June 14 in Visakhapatnam, keeping the hopes of winning the five-match series unchanged. Yuzvendra Chahal claimed three wickets, and Harshal Patel took four. It was India's third consecutive victory, following wins in Delhi and Cuttack. The series' finale encounter will be contested in Rajkot on June 17, followed by the final T20 in Bengaluru on June 19.

BCCI Reveals Team India's Groups For 5 T20I Series VS South Africa & 5th Test VS England
Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) revealed an 18-man team for the forthcoming five-match T20I series against South Africa, which begins on June 9. BCCI also revealed a 17-man Test team for the fifth Test against England. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli won't play in the T20I squad but will play for the Test match.
