Filmmaker Rohit Shetty will soon be back with another season of his adventurous show "Khatro Ke Khiladi 12". On June 6, Shetty announced that the filming of his popular reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi in Cape Town, South Africa.   The Filmmaker shared a clip via Instagram and said, "Time to go crazy, wild, raw and real once again! KHATRON KE KHILADI!! Shoot begins! #capetown #southafrica @colorstv."

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) revealed an 18-man team for the forthcoming five-match T20I series against South Africa, which begins on June 9. BCCI also revealed a 17-man Test team for the fifth Test against England. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli won't play in the T20I squad but will play for the Test match. KL Rahul will be captain of the squad in the home series. 

Sushil Chandra, the Chief Election Commissioner urged Indians in South Africa and Mauritius to register as overseas voters. The registration will be done through Electronically Transmitted Postal Ballot System, a facility extended to overseas voters. Indian women's cricket team player Smriti Mandhana, who recently was injured during warm-up fixture against South Africa, has been declared fit by doctors, on February 27.  With this, Mandhana will continue ICC Women's World Cup Campaign against Pakistan, starting from March 6.  Besides, Indian Women's cricket team is also set to play warm-up against West Indies, before world cup. Meanwhile, in the first warm-up game against SA, India won.

A South African study claimed that even unvaccinated people infected by the Omicron variant will not require hospital care. The study, led by the NICD, compared 11,600 patients from the first three COVID-19 waves with 5,100 patients from the new Omicron wave and found that there will be no severe illness. "Approximately 25% reduced risk of severe, hospitalization or death compared to Delta," the study said.
