India To Host 10 ASEAN Foreign Ministers To Engage China In Indo-Pacific Region

India will organize a conference with foreign ministers from ten ASEAN nations to engage China in the Indo-Pacific region for the first time. Indo-Pacific Economic Framework is anticipated to be discussed at the summit. The meeting will take place from June 15 to June 17. ASEAN is a group of Southeast Asian countries. Its goal is to foster economic development and prosperity among members while also maintaining peace and security.

5 Bangladesh Nationals Sent Back Home After Treating For Mental Ailments

Five Bangladesh nationals were sent back to their country after recovering from mental ailment issues at Modern Psychiatric Hospital in West Tripura's Narsingarh on April 2. India Ranks 85 In Transparency International’s Corruption Index, Best In South Asia

In England, South Asian Are More Likely To Contract COVID: Study

A study by the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) has indicated that South Asians are more likely to contract COVID-19 in England. Published in the 'Lancet' journal on April 30, the study suggested that during the second wave, the Pakistanis, Bangladeshis and Indians were most vulnerable. It cited health factors such as BMI, blood pressure and underlying health conditions among others as the reasons behind this.

A modelling study published in the 'The Lancet Planetary Health Journal' has reported that air pollution in South Asian countries causes around 3,49,681 pregnancy losses per year.
