A man identified as Pradeep alias Praveen was arrested for allegedly killing an advocate over a property dispute. The victim identified as Virender Kumar (35) was shot dead in Dwarka Sector -1 in South West Delhi, confirmed police. Furthermore, after investigation it was known that Pradeep was previously involved in 12 criminal cases. The Delhi police has arrested the accused and registered a case under IPC sections.

An illegal kidney transplant racket has been busted in the Hauz khas area. Police have arrested 10 persons from various places across the city. Reportedly, the racket was run by a doctor and other technicians and helpers. According to the police, they would induce the poor and needy to sell their kidneys and sell it at a higher price. Further details on the matter is awaited.
The Delhi Police arrested Paytm CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma for allegedly ramming DCP's car on Aurobindo Marg and later granted bail. He was arrested for negligent and rash driving, outside The Mother's International School, after he hit his Jaguar Land Rover to DCP Benita Mary Jaiker’s vehicle and fled away on February 22. Recently, DCP's driver Deepak reported the accident to the DCP, following which a case was registered.

The South Delhi Municipal Corporation has announced plans to open a Bollywood Park in Jangpura and Dinosaur Park in Sarai Kale Khan. The dinosaur park will be named Waste to Wonder Park and will reportedly be made out of scrap material. Bollywood park will have a history of Indian cinema, artifacts, sculptures of stars. The dinosaur park will be basically for children which will have a total of 15 sculptures.

Alagarathanam Natarajan, "Matka Man," is well-known for his altruistic service to the poor. Everyday, he fills clay pots with drinking water. He has built more than 15 Matka stands around the South Delhi locality. He attracted Anand Mahindra's notice by modifying a Bolero vehicle to suit his needs. Anand Mahindra tweeted, "A Superhero that's more powerful than the entire Marvel stable," due to which he gained massive recognition.

A deputy labour commissioner in the Jammu and Kashmir administration was robbed by two miscreants in the Khanpur area of South Delhi on October 16. The initial probe revealed that she was allegedly robbed by 'Thak Thak' gang members. The incident took place two to three days ago, when the victim was going to Faridabad in her car. Reportedly, two scooter-borne men stopped and robbed her. Police investigation is underway.

A fire mishap at Delhi's Lajpat Nagar spread to five showrooms adjacent to each other and caused huge financial losses to the owners. Atul Garg, the Delhi fire service director stated that the accident happened at around 10 AM and the causes are unknown. He also praised the firemen for an effective reaction to the call which prevented the fire from being spread to the residential areas.

A 36-year-old woman from Delhi’s Chhatarpur attempted suicide after killing her husband. Reportedly, she has made a Facebook post, which was spotted by his neighbour who informed the Police. After breaking the apartment’s gate, the police found the deceased body smeared in a blood bath, and the wife was found unconscious on the bed. While the lady was rushed and admitted to the Delhi AIIMS, the investigation is underway.
