South Korea Reports 118,504 Fresh COVID Cases: Covid-19 Update
In the last 24 hours, South Korea reported 118,504 fresh cases of Covid-19, on April 19, reported health authorities. Of which, 834 are said to be in a serious condition, which is down by 16 from the previous day. Also, 130 more deaths were confirmed, taking the total death toll to 21,354. About 86.8% of the toal population have been vaccinated with both the doses, reported ANI.

South Korea Announces To Send Non-Lethal Military & Medical Supplies To Ukraine
South Korea's national defence ministry announced to send non-lethal military supplies and medical supplies to Ukraine, amid the ongoing Russian invasion. Out of the 20 items that will be shipped to Ukraine, 12 will be military supplies and the rest will be medical supplies. North Korea Launches 9th Missile Test Ahead Of South Korean Presidential Election
Ahead of the South Korean presidential election, North Korea fired a single ballistic missile into the east sea on March 5. According to the Yonhap news agency, it was the country's ninth such test of the year. "Currently, our military is tracking and monitoring movements regarding the possibility of an additional launch," said South Korea's JCS. However, over the missile test, the Japanese government has voiced the protest.

Cats Responsible For Over 100 House Fires In South Korea, Says Officials
South Korean officials warned pet owners to stay on their guard, as according to fire officials, more than 100 fires were started by cats. In last three years, cats caused a total of 107 house fires, read a statement from Fire & Disaster Department. The cats, as per the department, are believed to have started fire by switching-on electric stoves by jumping and roaming around in houses.

Tae Jin Park, the MD of Kia Motors said, "Our business plan got limited this year due to the global shortage of semiconductors.
