European Space Agency To Hire First-Ever Physically Disabled Astronaut

The world's first physically disabled astronaut hopes to make its debut through the European Space Agency. According to the agency's head, Josef Aschbacher in the recent recruitment process, over 22,000 applications were received out of which a several hundreds belonged to para-astronauts who are physically challenged. Axiom Space To Carry Its First Crew Members To Space Station, For $55 Million

Private aerospace company Axiom Space, on January 26, announced the list of first customers to visit the International Space Station in January 2022. American entrepreneur Larry Connor, Canadian businessman Mark Pathy and Israel's Eytan Stibbe will pay $55 million (over Rs 400 cr) each.
