Indian Railways Issues New Rules For Seating Allotment

The Indian Railways changed some rules, including the seating allotment, especially the lower berth. As per new railways rules, four seats, two bottom two middle ones, two seats in third AC, two seats in AC3 economy are reserved for the disabled in sleeper class. Also, two lower seats and two upper seats are reserved for the disabled in the Garib Rath train. New rules were taken by Railway Board.

14-Year-Old Bihar Girl With No Hands Desires To Become Teacher

Tanu Kumari, a 14-year-old specially-abled girl who learned to write/study with her toes after losing both her hands in an accident. Besides, she evolved as an inspiration for others and aspires to be a teacher. "I do not feel that I will be left behind because of my disability," she said. However, she continues to fight her "disability" with determination and her family awaits govt's aid to fulfill her dreams.

Meet Chitrasen Sahu, India's First Double Leg Amputee Climbs Europe's Highest Peak

Chitrasen Sahu, a specially-abled double leg amputee mountaineer from Chhattisgarh, climbed one of Europe and Russia’s highest mountain peaks, Mount Elbrus at a height of 5,642 metres.
