SAI Suspends Coach Accused Of Harassing Cyclist Sexually

The Sports Authority of India (SAI) suspended RK Sharma's contract on June 8 after a top Indian women cyclist accused him of sexual harassment. SAI stated that "prima facie, the case is established and the allegations of the athlete are found to be true." The Cycling Federation of India (CFI) acknowledged the complainant and the coach in a separate statement, saying it stands "with the complainant."

SAI Allows Non-residential Athletes To Train At NCOEs

Sports Authority of India Reopens Its Eastern Centre After Covid-19 Outbreak

Sports Authority of India's Kolkata centre at Salt Lake re-opened on October 9, after seven months of closure due to COVID-19. Authorities have only allowed athletics and hockey players to start training while following the guidelines issued by government.
