IOA Drops Chinese Sports Brand Li-Ning As Its Official Kit Sponsor
Amid the criticism to boycott Chinese products, the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has decided to drop Chinese brand Li-Ning as its official kit sponsor for the Olympics. Reportedly, the Indian athletes will wear unbranded apparel during the Tokyo Games. The move came after the sports ministry discouraged the use of Chinese brands. "We are in discussions with a couple of brands. Let's see how things pan out," the IOA stated.

SAI Facilities To Be Named After Indian Sporting Heroes
Intending to honour India's sporting heroes, Sports Ministry on January 17 announced to name the facilities of Sports Authority of India (SAI) after renowned athletes.
