Arsenal Knocked Out Of Europe League Amid Penalty Loss

Premier League leaders Arsenal were knocked out of the Europa League at the last-16 stage in a penalty shootout 1-1 (3-5) loss by Sporting Lisbon at Emirates Stadium. Gabriel Martinelli saw his spot kick saved in the shoot-out, allowing Nuno Santos to convert the winner, after a 1-1 draw on Thursday night, and a 3-3 draw on aggregate. After the game, the club's manager spoke about the performance in presser.

Harmanpreet Singh Reacts To 'School Girl Error' Comment

Women's Cricket Team Captain Harmanpreet Singh reacted to the 'School Girl' comment. Notably,  former England captain Nasser Hussain in his commentary of the India V/S Australia semi-final match, said, Harmanpreet's team made 'schoolgirl error' leading to their defeat by five runs against Australia. When reporters asked about Hussian's comment, Singh said, " I don't think it was a mistake by a schoolgirl because we are mature enough."

BCCI Likely To Announce Kit Deal With German Sports Apparel Adidas

The BCCI is all set to sign a deal with German sports apparel giant Adidas for the next shirt sponsorship of Indian Cricket. On February 21, the sources close to the deal said the signed deal will be officially in effect from June until March 2028. The decision to sign a deal with Adidas was taken with the aim of attracting major sports apparel to sponsor the Indian team.

TSRTC Employees Won Medals At All India Masters Games 2023

TSRTC employees won medals at the fifth All-India Masters Games 2023, held at Gachibowli, in Hyderabad, Telangana. The event was held on February 15, where six employees won gold and silver medals. The employees who won medals and were selected for South Korea International trip are K Srinivas, M Anjali and K Kishan. VC Sajjanar, the MD of the TSRTC congratulated the employees for win.

India-Australia Test Match Shifted To Indore From Dharamsala

BCCI confirmed the shift of the venue for the 3rd Test Match, between Australia-India. On February 13, the BCCI said, the final test match between India-Australia will now be held in Indore, instead of Dharamsala, Himachal Pradesh.  The third game of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy is now going to be held in the Holkar Stadium in Indore between March 1-5. The decision was taken amid poor outfield conditions in Dharamsala.

In the final match, the Indian Cricket Team won the match and secured the DICC T20 Trophy, at Malek Stadium at Ajman, the United Arab Emirates. Moreover, this was a special match, as it was first time Indian Deaf Cricket played International after the pandemic.

The death toll in the Indonesia football match stampede incident rose to 174, confirmed the concerned authority on October 2. Jasprit Bumrah Ruled Out Of T20 World Cup Amid Back Injury

India's pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah was ruled out of the T20-World Cup due to a back stress fracture, confirmed sources on September 29.  Absence of Bumrah from the tour will be a massive blow to team's chances at the ICC flagship event starting from November in Australia. "Bumrah has a serious back condition. It's a stress fracture and he could be out for a period of six-months," said BCCI official.
