100Mn Sputnik V Covid Vaccines To Be Produced In India
India plans to produce over 100 million doses of Russian Covid-19 vaccine Sputnik V. As per reports, Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) will help Indian pharma company Hetero in producing Sputnik V doses from early 2021. Amid ongoing lab tests of the vaccine, Dr Reddy's Laboratories expects the final trials to be over by March 2021. In addition to this, the RDIF is marketing the Sputnik V vaccine globally.

Dr Reddy Gets DCGI Nod; Will Start Testing World's First COVID Vaccine In India

Dr Reddy's to Conduct Phase 3 Trials of Russia's COVID Vaccine
Hyderabad-based pharma, Dr Reddy's, has signed an agreement with Russian Direct Investment Firm to conduct phase 3 trials of Sputnik V vaccine in India. According to the deal, Dr Reddy's will receive 100 million doses of the vaccine, which is expected to be available by the end of the year if the trials are successful. Last month, Russia had cleared the Sputnik V vaccine for public use.
