Umran Malik of Jammu & Kashmir has been selected as India's net bowler for the Forthcoming T20 World Cup. In the IPL 2021, Malik played for SunRisers Hyderabad, setting a record for the fastest delivery at 153 kph in the season against Royal Challengers Bangalore on October 6. Malik accomplished this milestone against Devdutt Padikkal on the fourth delivery of the ninth over.

Sunrisers Hyderabad's (SRH) fast bowler Umran Malik on October 3 surprised everyone as he bowled the fastest delivery at his IPL debut at 151.03 kmph in the ongoing IPL 2021 in Dubai.
