Italian National Arrested For Entering India, Illegally: Indo-Nepal Border
The Uttar Pradesh Police arrested an Italian national along the India-Nepal border, confirmed the police on July 5. Identified as Federico Negri (39,) he was trying to enter the country without a valid visa. As per sources, the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) team for routine checking in the Sonauli area asked for Negri's visa, when he couldn't produce one, the SSB registered a case and informed the Intelligence Bureau.

Former Sashastra Seema Bal Chief Arun Chaudhary Passes Away At 66
Former chief of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Arun Chaudhary, has passed away at 66 due to COVID-19 on April 26. The SSB mourned his death and stated, “His contribution to the nation and SSB cannot be forgotten". Chaudhary was a 1977-batch IPS officer of the Bihar cadre who had worked in the Intelligence Bureau for two decades before serving as the director general of the SSB in 2012.
