India-Australia Test Match Shifted To Indore From Dharamsala
BCCI confirmed the shift of the venue for the 3rd Test Match, between Australia-India. On February 13, the BCCI said, the final test match between India-Australia will now be held in Indore, instead of Dharamsala, Himachal Pradesh. The third game of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy is now going to be held in the Holkar Stadium in Indore between March 1-5. The decision was taken amid poor outfield conditions in Dharamsala.

Motera Cricket Ground Renamed To 'Narendra Modi Stadium'
The newly refurbished Motera cricket ground in Ahmedabad has been renamed to Narendra Modi Stadium on February 24. The announcement was made during the stadium's inauguration which was done by President Ram Nath Kovind. Earlier known as Sardar Patel Stadium, the Narendra Modi Stadium is the world's largest cricket ground with a seating capacity of 1.10 lakh. Punjab CM Inaugurates Construction Of 750 Rural Stadiums And Playgrounds
Under the 'Tandarust Punjab Mission', the Punjab CM launched a project for construction of 750 stadiums and play grounds in the rural areas of the state. The CM said that the project, which will cost Rs 105 crore, aims to "help youth channelize their energy." He added that the government intends to complete at least five stadiums per block by 2020-2021, and wishes to name them after eminent sportspersons.
