Oklahoma Couple Charged INR 3 Lakhs For Starbucks Coffee
An Oklahoma couple ended up paying $4,000 (INR 3 lakhs approx.,) for a regular coffee at Starbucks. The couple Jesse and Deedee O'Dell said, they recently got to know about the huge amount charged and filed a complaint with the police. The couple said, "We contacted their (Starbucks) customer service helpline probably 30 to 40 times that day." Meanwhile, Starbucks apologized and said to have given two compensation cheques.

Laxman Narasimhan Becomes New CEO Of Starbucks
Starbucks has named Indian-origin Laxman Narasimhan as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), on September 1. The current CEO Howard Schultz will step down and continue as interim chief till April 2023. Meanwhile, Narasimhan will take up the office on October 1. With this, Narasimhan will be relocated from London to Seattle. Narasimhan will join the board and start as the CEO from April 1.
