Four Directors of Gujarat’s 'Sterling Biotech' Declared Fugitives After Fleeing Country
Four Directors of the Gujarat pharma 'Sterling Biotech' have been declared as 'fugitive economic offenders' by a Delhi Court, on September 28. The order was passed in an Rs.8,100 crore bank fraud case following an appeal by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The ED argued that the accused were already issued a non-bailable warrant, but they still fled the country and "are evading the process of law to face criminal prosecution."
