Odisha STF Seizes Drugs Worth Rs 2.5 Crores, Arrests 3

Odisha police recovered 2.58 kgs of brown sugar in a major drug haul, on June 6. The drugs worth Rs 2.5 crores were recovered by the Special Task Force, which also arrested three peddlers after they received special information. The STF raided a place near AIIMS, Bhubaneswar, and seized the brown sugar. Furthermore, a case under of NDPS Act 1985 has been registered in this connection.

Man Arrested With Illegal Weapons In West Bengal's Malda

In West Bengal's Malda district, the police arrested a man was with illegal arms and ammunition on June 3. As per sources, the Special Task Force (STF) of West Bengal Police, seized three seven-mm pistols, six magazines and 18 rounds of bullets. The details of the arrested man and the ammunitions are to be known. Furthermore, the police has launched an investigation into the matter.

STF Arrests One Person For Wildlife Trafficking In Odisha

In Odisha's Kalahandi district, the police rescued a pangolin from Karnikhunti village, after a tip-off was given to the special task force personnel.  On May 23, the police confirmed the arrest of one person on charges of wildlife trafficking. Odisha Police Arrests Man For Illegally Selling Leopard Skin

In Odisha's Boudh district, the Special Task Force (STF) arrested one person for selling leopard skin, on November 21. The accused was arrested during a raid by STF conducted with the help of Forest officials near Ghantapada village, said police. As per sources, he was also carrying other incriminating materials. Reportedly, the STF has so far seized 21 leopard skins in the last one year.
