Communal Clash Breaks Out In Gujarat’s Vadodara; 40 Arrested

In Gujarat’s Vadodara, a communal clash broke out at a vegetable market in Savio town on October 3, confirmed police. Following which, around 40 persons have been arrested. According to the police, a religious flag was tied to an electric pole, which offended the sentiments of another religious group. Kanpur Clash: Violence Erupts Between Police & Members Of Minority Community In UP

In Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur, violence broke out in the Becongunj area near Yatimkhana, between member of a minority community and police, on June 3. Reportedly the violence erupted after police baton-charged the locals. Around six persons were injured in the clash, and at least two shots were fired in during the incident. Stone-Pelting In Delhi, Three Arrested

Three people involved in a stone-pelting incident in Delhi have been arrested by the Delhi police, and as many as thirty-seven others have been arrested. The Delhi police says that it all started with a quarrel between two groups at Photo Chowk in Delhi's Welcome area. An FIR has been registered under the section of riots. More details are awaited as the investigation is currently underway.

Khargone Violence: Curfew Lifted After 24 Days Following Peace Committee Meeting

Madhya Pradesh's Khargone lifted the curfew, 24 days after it was imposed, on May 5. The curfew was imposed due to a communal violence that took place during a religious procession. The lifting of the curfew has come following a peace committee meeting by the administration. Notably, on April 10, violence erupted during the Ram Navami procession, which resulted in stone pelting and several persons being injured.

Jodhpur: Groups Pelt Stones, Police Resorts To Baton-Charge

After two groups engaged in stone-pelting just a day after clashes, the police resorted to baton-charge. The agitators could be heard chanting slogans while hurling stones. The police made attempts to disperse the crowd. Navjyoti Gogoi, the Police Commissioner of Jodhpur, shared, "The situation is under control, and the flag march will be held." All internet services have been suspended in the area.

Khargone: Curfew Relaxed For Nine Hours

The curfew in Khargone has been relaxed for nine hours, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The curfew had been imposed owing to incidents of stone-pelting and violence in the district last month. Sumer Singh Mujalda says that Eid prayers must be offered at home only. Several people were left injured last month after violence had broken out during a procession.

Curfew Announced In MP's Khargone On May 2 & 3; Eid Prayers To Be Offered At Home

In MP's Khargone district, a complete curfew has been imposed on May 2 and 3, to avoid any untoward incident during festivals. Additional District Magistrate Sumer Singh Mujalda asked Eid prayers to be offered from home. He further said, no event on Akshaya Tritiya and Parshuram Jayanti will be allowed to organise. The decision has come after the district witnessed a stone pelting incident on April 10, during Ram-Navami procession.

Hubli Stone Pelting Incident: 146 Persons Arrested Including Another AIMIM Leader

As many as 146 people have been booked over the Hubli stone pelting incident. Among those arrested was AIMIM political leader and the Hubli unit president, Dadapeer Betgeri. It is known that out of the 146 persons, around 145 of the accused have been sent to Hubli, Ballari, Dharwad, Mysore, and Kalbugri jails. All of them would reportedly remain in judicial custody for more than one month.

Hubli Stone Pelting Incident: Owaisi Asks AIMIM Workers To Not Indulge In Civil Disputes

AIMIM party chief Asaduddin Owaisi advised his party workers to not indulge in civil disputes, following the arrest of AIMIM corporator Nazir Ahmed Honyal, on April 25. Honyal was arrested in connection with the stone pelting incident in Karnataka's Hubballi. Owaisi also asked his followers to "let law take its course". "We are here to help the people. Don't create problems for the public," said Owaisi to his party workers.

National Security Act Invoked Against 2 Persons Involved In Khargone Violence: MP

National Security Act (NSA) has been involved against two persons for alleged involvement in the Khargone violence in incident in Madhya Pradesh. Furthermore, about over 153 persons have been arrested and 65 FIRs have been filed in connection with the incident. During a Ram Navami procession on April 10, several people including Superintendent of Police Siddharth Choudhary were injured due to "storm pelting".
