Microsoft Launches Outlook Lite App For Android Phones With Less RAM, Storage

Microsoft released Outlook Lite in a few markets. It is the "lite" variant of the main application for budget smartphones with minimal RAM and storage, but it may lack some functionality found in the main app. The software is compatible with Android handsets with 1GB of RAM. Users should be aware that the app, like the lite versions, are not accessible on iPhones.

HTC Introduces Android Tablet A101 In Russia, Features 10 Inch LCD Screen

HTC unveiled the HTC A101, an Android tablet. It has a 10-inch IPS LCD screen and a 7,000 mAh battery. The smartphone is powered by Unisoc's T618 SoC, which is combined with 8GB RAM and 128GB of additional storage via microSD. A 3.5mm headphone jack is also included with the tablet. In Russia, HTC sells this tablet for RUB 19,890 (USD 361) and offers it in grey and silver colors.

Google Photos Free Unlimited Photo Storage Will End From June 1

Google Photos free storage policy for 'high resolution' and 'express resolution' photos is about to end on June 1. Moreover, the users relying on Google Photos to back up all pictures will need to pay for the cloud storage beyond 15GB free limit. Under the paid subscription, it has announced plans starting with Rs 130/month or Rs 1,300/year for 100GB. However, photos uploaded earlier will have no effect, confirmed Google.

Google gives free storage on docs, slides and sheets until Feb '22.

Google extended the deadline for free storage to February 2022, rather than June 2021, as initially expected. Though, this update is only applicable to the current WorkSpace and GSuite Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drawings, Forms, or Jamboard images. Users of personal Google accounts will appear to be subject to the June 2021 deadline. According to Google, the majority of the users will not be affected by this change.

WhatsApp To Allow Users Clear Files In Bulk With New Storage Tool

Mobile messenger app WhatsApp is set to roll a new feature that will help users to clear files in bulk. The new storage management tool allows users to delete data in categories like 'file size' and 'forwarded many times'. The update will also enable users to preview the files before deleting them. After updating the app, users can access the new tool by going to Settings>Storage> Data>Manage storage.
