Strait of Malaca

Thailand plans to construct a 100 km land passage-way connecting Indian and Pacific Oceans to reduce the congestion on the Strait of Malacca. Reportedly, the Strait of Malacca is the busiest shipping route connecting Asia-Pacific region with India and Middle East.
