In a shocking incident, CEO & owner of Wakh Bakri Parag Desai, died at the age of 42, in Ahmedabad. He suffered brain hamorrhage, after being attacked by stray dogs, resulting in tragic death on October 23. The 42-year-old was attacked by dogs on October 15. In attempt to escape,Parag tried his best but fell on the ground suffering deep head injuries. The incident raised concern of stray dog attacks.

In a heartwrenching video, a boy was attacked by a pack of dogs in Uttar Pradesh's Jhansi district. A video on social media and 'X' (formerly Twitter) showed the boy coming under attack by stray dogs in a narrow lane. The video showed the boy being chased by the dogs before and soon comes under a vicious attack, after which the dogs started biting the boy, who is undertreatment.

In a shocking heart-wrenching incident, a six-year-old boy named Chotu was attacked by a bunch of stray dogs. The boy, a resident of Kazipet was playing at a park near railway station, Kazipet, when a pack of stray dogs, mauled him and killed him. He was immediately saved by locals and rushed to MGM Hospital, where he died. Chotu's family and relatives demanded action to control stray dog issues.

In Uttar Pradesh's Thakurganj, stray dogs attacked two minors, resulting in the death of Mohammad Raza (5) and leaving one Jannat Jahan (7) injured. On April 7, the two were playing outside their house, when stray dogs attacked the victims. The UP Municipal Corporation took cognizance of the incident and sent a team to the spot. The corporation also assured to identify such dogs and curb the situation.

A newborn male infant soaked in blood was found abandoned along the roadside of East Bengaluru’s HRBR Layout, August 15. The baby was rescued by a passerby as stray dogs were about to attack it. Police on reaching the spot enquired about the baby’s parents, however, nobody saw the person that abandoned the baby. Currently, the baby is under medical supervision at Vanivilas Hospital.
