People who were unvaccinated but survived COVID-19 were better protected than those who were vaccinated and not previously infected, suggested a Study. The analysis was also carried out during the Delta variant infection among 1 million people, who tested positive in New York and California, between May 30 to November 30, 2021. COVID Positive Pregnant Women Can Give Normal Births: Study
In a study published in the "Journal of Perinatal Medicine", researchers have found that women infected with COVID-19 during pregnancy, can give normal births. Reportedly, the study was conducted on 33 publicly insured women and their infants. ''At 6-month follow-up, we observed normal growth patterns and developmental milestones,'' said Malika Shah, senior author of the study. The results are said to be reassuring for pregnant women.
