The Jharkhand Court took a suo moto cognisance of the gruesome killing of a 16-year-old girl by her alleged stalker in Dumka, Jharkhand. The division bench of Chief Justice Dr Ravi Ranjan and Justice Sujit Narayan summoned Jharkhand DGP Neeraj Sinha and ordered to submit incident details report.  Notably, a teenager was burnt alive, after she rejected the proposal of a youth named Shah Rukh, currently under police custody.

Became sensational with a nude photoshoot, Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has been reportedly summoned by Mumbai Police after an FIR in this regard. Notably, the actor, who is out of Mumbai right now, will be asked to appear before the cop, on or after August 16, confirmed police on August 12. Furthermore, the investigation in his recent nude photo shoot for a magazine will move ahead.

Congress President Sonia Gandhi once again has been summoned with a fresh notice by the Enforcement Directorate for questioning. Gandhi has been summoned for questioning in the National Herald Newspaper Money Laundering Case, on July 21. Notably, the fresh issue came after she failed to appear before the ED, amid health issues, including Covid-19 and post Covid-19 issues. The fresh issue by the ED were issued on July 11.

BJP leader Pravin Darekar has been accused in a  bank fraud case, forging documents for the Mumbai Bank election case.  In regard to this, the Mumbai Police has issued summon to the leader, asking him to appear for questioning on April 11. Notably, this is the second time, Darekar has been called for questioning under the case registered with MRA Police Station. Furthermore, the court also rejected his anticipatory bail.
