Sundar Pichai's Ancestral Chennai Home Found Its New Owner

In an emotional moment for Google CEO Sundar Pichai, his ancestral home in Chennai has been sold. Located in Chennai's Ashok Nagar, the house has found its new owner in Tamil actor and producer C Manikandan.  “Sundar Pichai has made our country proud and buying the house where he lived will be a proud achievement of my life,” said C Manikandan. He recalled how Sundar's father broke down.

CEO Sundar Pichai Hints Another Lay Off At Google

Google CEO Sundar Pichai hints another mass lay offs at the company. In an interview, Pichai said, the focus is on moving people to its most important areas and he did not rule out the possibility of another mass layoff. Pichai said, the company is looking into all aspects to re-engineer the cost base in response. Furthermore, as of now, the company has laid off 6% of work force.

Filmmaker Suneel Darshan Files FIR Against Google CEO Sundar Pichai

Filmmaker Suneel Darshan filed an FIR against Google CEO Sundar Pichai and five other employees of the tech company. Darshan alleged that the company was uploading his movie "Ek Haseena Thi, Ek Deewana Tha" without copyrights. The movie director said, despite several complaints, the movie is still available on YouTube, making money with millions of views. The Mumbai police registered FIR as per Mumbai HC directions.
