Kolkata Knight Riders(KKR) got Sunil Narine back in the line-up as the spinner has been removed from the IPL's 'Suspect Action Warning List', on October 18. He was flagged for "illegal bowling action" in the match against Kings XI Punjab on October 10. IPL's 'Suspect Bowling Action Committee', mentioned that the bowler's elbow-bend is seen to be within the range limit, concluding his bowling action to be clean.
