3,700 Kg Explosives Installed To Destroy Noida’s 40-Storey Twin Towers
In Uttar Pradesh’s Noida, over 3,700 kg of explosives have been installed to destroy Supertech’s 40-storey twin towers. The explosives have been installed on every floor of the building, which will all be connected to wires. The layout and wiring is expected to be completed in two to three days. The demolition is expected to be concluded within nine seconds once it commences on August 28, at around 2:30 pm.

Supertech Declared Insolvent, Home Buyers Affected
Property developer Supertech Ltd collapsed after the national Company Law Tribunal sent a petition filed by Union Bank of India for non-payment of dues. Noida's 40-Floor Twin-Tower To Be Demolished, Says Supreme Court
The Supreme Court on August 31 ordered the authorities to demolish a 40-floor twin tower of real estate firm 'Supertech' in Noida within three months. However, the court's order came after almost 7 years following the demolition order issued by the Allahabad HC in 2014 due to lack of safety standards. Moreover, the order stated that the builder has to bear the expenses and also compensate the flat owners.
