Teen Trapped In Earthquake Debris Survived After 96 Hours: Turkey-Syria Quake
In the Turkey-Syria earthquake, a 17-year-old boy, who got trapped under the rubble on February 6, was rescued after almost four days. The struggle of the teen boy identified as Adnan Muhammet Korkut was said to be very painful as he drank his own urine and ate his family’s flowers to survive. The disastrous earthquake which hit Syria-Turkey on February 6, claimed over 25,000 lives and feared thousands trapped.

Project Dastaan: Bringing Closure To Partition Survivors Through VR Videos
As India and Pakistan parted ways in 1947, 15 million people got displaced. Today, survivors still live with the hope of seeing their hometowns that they left behind 75 years ago. Project Dastaan, started by co-founders Sparsh Ahuja and Sadiya Gardezi, makes this wish possible through 360 degrees VR videos. The project aims at healing the old wounds of those parted by bringing them virtually close to the lost places.

Tale Of Jaipur's 'Jayant Kandoi'; Who Fought Cancer 6 Times
Jayant Kandoi, a 23-year-old Ajmer-based man has fought cancer six times in the past few years. Kandoi was first diagnosed with cancer in 2013. He appeared for his class 10 board exam and became the class topper after beating cancer for the first time. "I have had to deal with cancer six times and each time a new body part was impacted. Today, I give motivational talks," Kandoi said.

Terror Attack Survivor Elected As Oxford Union Treasurer: Pakistan
Ahmad Nawaz, a survivor of 2014 terror attack on Army Public School in Pakistan has been elected as the treasurer of Oxford Union. The Taliban attack causing the death of 141 people including 132 children was witnessed by Nawaz at the age of fourteen. Nawaz's younger brother, Harris survived the attack by playing dead. Now, 20-year-old Nawaz is an activist and works for the cause of education.
